Chuyang Sun is a PhD candidate at the School of Psychology, Nanjing University. He has joined the MIB for a one-year visit under the supervision of Associate Professor Leonardo Bonetti, working with postdoctoral researcher Dr. Mattia Rosso.

His research collaboration focuses on using hyperscanning EEG methods to compute social brain networks in rhythm. Additionally, he studies the neuropsychological processes of social consensus decision-making and collaborative esports through fNIRS and other methods.

Chuyang is a music lover - particularly rock, though he also listens to jazz and classical. He enjoys the groove and emotional expression in music and likes playing with others, which likely drives his interest in his current research.
