New face at MIB: Chaitrali Kuldeep Kshirsagar

MIB welcomes new research intern.

Chaitrali Kuldeep Kshirsagar holds a master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience and Human Sciences from the University of Pavia, Italy. Her academic work focuses on understanding how the brain processes and internally represents musical rhythm.

She is currently a research intern at the Center for Music in the Brain, Aarhus University, where she is involved in projects exploring rhythm learning, neural entrainment, and the relationship between musical structure and pleasure with Jan Stupacher and Tomas Matthews.

Chaitrali's research interests lie at the intersection of music cognition, cognitive neuroscience, and predictive processing, with a particular focus on how rhythmic structure supports perception, learning, and internal timing mechanisms.
