New face at MIB: Di Wu
MIB welcomes visiting PhD student from Hangzhou Normal University.
Di Wu is a PhD student at Hangzhou Normal University, Institute of Brain Science and Department of Physiology, China. She is currently visiting MIB as a guest PhD with Prof. Elvira Brattico and Mathias Klarlund.
During her stay at MIB, Di will be focusing on research related to her PhD thesis, which explores auditory features and the neural mechanisms underlying affective Chinese traditional music. Her study employs EEG, behavioral methods, and machine learning to investigate these questions. Additionally, she will be involved in a project that examines the brain spatiotemporal dynamics of rhythm in music interaction across different cultural backgrounds using MEG techniques.
Apart from her academic activities, Di enjoys participating in street dance classes and also plays the piano. She is looking forward to embarking on this new journey in Aarhus.
