Ece Çalışkanyürek is a medical student at Hacettepe University in Türkiye. She is currently visiting Center for Music in the Brain at Aarhus University as a research intern. Her academic interests include neuroscience, cognition, and the relationship between brain function and health.

During her stay at MIB, Ece will gain experience in cognitive neuroscience research and contribute to ongoing projects within the research group. Through this internship, she hopes to broaden her scientific perspective and further explore the intersection of medicine and neuroscience.

Outside her academic activities, Ece enjoys traveling, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from diverse backgrounds. She has played the piano and flute for many years and loves singing, which makes joining MIB a particularly exciting opportunity.
