Martina Schiassi has joined MIB for a 9-month postgraduate internship. Under the supervision of Prof. Peter Keller and Associate Prof. Leonardo Bonetti, she will take part in several projects whose main aim is to study the spatiotemporal dynamics of the brain's rhythmic coordination skills, using MEG and other neuroimaging techniques.
Martina has a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy and a Master's degree in Neurobiology from the University of Pavia, Italy.
Martinas is very interested in what happens in our brains when we listen to and get transported by music. She has played the piano since childhood and hopes to learn to play even more instruments in the future.
