New face at MIB: Michalina Zawartowska
MIB welcomes back Michalina Zawartowska.
Michalina Zawartowska recently completed her Master's degree in Cognitive Science at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. In her master's thesis, she incorporated results from a pilot study conducted under the supervision of Victor Pando Naudé, with the great help of Jan Stupacher and Boris Kleber - all from MIB.
Michalina is pleased to be an intern again at MIB, assisting Victor Pando Naudé and engaging in further neuroimaging projects. Building on her previous results, her aim is to continue exploring the topics of movement, kinesthetic empathy, synchrony, interpersonal relations, and, of course, rhythmic complexity. She would like to further investigate tools used in dance and movement psychotherapy, while adding a stronger neurobiological perspective. Also, she will try to explore the topic of affective touch, CI and synchrony.
Additionally, since her last stay, Michalina has broadened her interests to include cultural diversity, nonverbal communication, nutrition, and vagus nerve dynamics. She started to travel even more! However, she remains anchored to her greatest passions - music and dance - and she continues to seek ways to connect them with her future work.
