Pelle De Deckere is a biomedical science master student at the University of Antwerp with a specialization in neuroscience combined with a research and management minor. Pelle has always had interests in science and music and recently discovered the music neuroscience field which brought him to MIB. Here he will write his master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Debby Van Dam and MIB assistant professor Boris Kleber. He will also join Kleber's fMRI study on emotion and voice.

Pelle's goal is to get deeper into the neuroscience and music field and learn how music influences the cognitive, emotional and behavioral networks in our brain.
