New face at MIB: Tristan O'Leary

MIB is happy to host PhD student from Freie Universität Berlin.

Tristan O'Leary is a doctoral candidate in musicology at the Freie Universität Berlin working as part of the Marie Curie doctoral network 'Lullabyte' investigating the effects of music on sleep. He has a background in historical musicology and computer science with bachelor's and master's degrees in musicology from his home country the UK.

He will be in Aarhus from February through April working with MIB Associate Professor Kira Vibe Jespersen and other Lullabyte members, exploring empirical methods for increasing our understanding of spatial experience of music in sleep settings. He is hoping to draw upon the scientific expertise of the centre and is excited to engage with the wide knowledge base here at MIB.
