The Music and Sleep Conference 2026 is the first international conference adressing the rapidly growing research field of music and sleep. With an interdisciplinary perspective, we look forward to bringing together professionals and researchers from various fields to discuss advancements and innovations.

The conference will be hosted by Center for Music in the Brain, Aarhus University and is organized in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Music and the European MSCA doctoral network Lullabyte.

Center for Music in the Brain

The conference is hosted by Center for Music in the Brain which is a Center of Excellence funded by the Danish National Research Foundation. Center for Music in the Brain is an interdisciplinary research center at Aarhus University and the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg, Denmark aiming to address the dual questions of how music is processed in the brain and how this can inform our understanding of fundamental principles behind brain functioning in general.
