Places to go

Food

  • Street Food Aarhus is an unmissable stop for people from the Center for Music in the Brain. Street Food is an indoor market with food stalls from various countries, such as Mexico, Greece, India and, of course, Denmark. The prices are lower than average, and the informal atmosphere makes it a regular spot for our dinners together.
  • Café Mellemfolk is a volunteer-run place. It’s a café, but you’ll also find excellent, fully plant-based food here. Always worth checking out is the Global Kitchen, where every Wednesday evening dishes from a specific world cuisine are offered in a vegan version.
  • Gaijin Ramen is a ramen restaurant that’s also an institution in Aarhus. Unfortunately, you can’t make reservations, but if you’re craving a hot bowl of ramen, it’s always a great idea.
  • Pizza Propria is Silvia’s favourite pizza place in Aarhus. Come here or order take away for great pizza made with quality ingredients and some italianity.
  • Faour à Drop has the best falafels in town and amazing mezzé!
  • Royal Indian is a great place to try out in the city centre of Aarhus if it’s indian food you’re craving!
  • Pho C&P is for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine. In Pho C&P you can find what you’re looking for.
